Two to four cups of a beverage made from the leaves of this plant (camellia sinensis) is the recommended daily intake of this natural herb.  It can be consumed either hot or cold. Sometimes it is flavored with sugar, honey, or other sweetener. It often tastes great with lemon, raspberry, strawberry, or other fruit.  

Moreover, this particular natural plant is also taken by people in other forms such as a capsule, powder, or extracts. Sometimes it is one ingredient included in a mixture of weight loss beverage ingredients. For example, this type of herb in extract or liquid form is often mixed with hoodia.

This particular plant consumed in liquid form also is quite often mixed with ginseng, gingko, guarana, and other natural energizers. It also is an ingredient found in numerous sodas and other soft drinks.  

Green tea is found in both caffeinated and decaffeinated forms. The amount of caffeine present in this type of beverage or substance usually is less than in most types of coffee.
